Role:
For our client in the Pharma industry based in Kaiseraugst we are looking for a Business Analyst Initiatives.

OneCustomer enables Roche to understand customer journeys from a customer’s perspective and will
enable us to elevate our strategy from customer to product.

The perfect candidate: Are you passionate about enabling enterprises to be customer centric? As the
Senior Business Analyst in the OneCustomer initiative, you will be instrumental in transforming how
Roche understands and engages with its customers. You will play a critical role in enabling Roche
employees to walk in our customers’ shoes and take action in improving customers’ experiences with
Roche and within the healthcare ecosystem. You will collaborate with the Product Owner, other BAs to
understand the needs of OneCustomer users and enable the development team to deliver value.

Areas of responsibility:
* Gathers, analyses and defines user needs in collaboration with POs, BAs and relevant team members.
* Translates these user requirements into value-focused user stories and acceptance criteria and
completes initiative impact assessments and recommendation documentation – collecting into the
initiative and product backlogs for Product Owners’ review, approval and prioritization – and subsequent
delivery by the relevant squad
* Elaborates the user stories with the squad(s) in the backlog refinement meeting and supports the squad
and solution architects to design technical solutions and ensure that is properly implemented
* Works with the PO to understand the value and looks for solution that make sense as part of the big
picture
* Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their problems and
need – and identify opportunities for improvement
* Willingness to respond to changing situations and deliver value iteratively and de-risks the outcomes
* Clearly communicates information (needs, progress etc) around requirements and value with all
stakeholders (verbally, documentation, written)
* Consistently understand and determine customer/user value using questioning and listening skills
* Can lead to design and facilitate workshop sessions with OneCustomer users for large features/epics,
splitting the work with the other BAs and working collaboratively UX and POs
* Supports the PO to develop & maintain user personas at an initiative level; correlating users’ job roles to
persona/users roles in OneCustomer and mapping of features/epics based on value

Professional and technical requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work
experience
* Advanced experience with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, SAFe)
* Min. 6+ years of work experience as a Business Analyst, preferred within pharmaceutical industry or
highly related industry
* Highly experienced in business partnering and learning new business domains understand business
process analysis and design, usability and the ability to facilitate workshops in combination with a
customer centric focus
* Hands-on experience in moderation, coaching of workshops and be able to summarize the results
* Strong Project experience in IT Projects (preferred Software development lifecycle)
* Excellent written and verbal English
* Taking initiative and suggesting ways to move forward
* Acts from a whole system, enterprise perspective and understands the big picture
* Leads change by example, is optimistic in the face of challenge; stays resilient
* Effective management of short-term issues, while balancing attention to customer-led, business-driven
and technology-enabled strategic efforts.
* Ability to communicate clearly, effectively and by simplifying complex information
* Passionate about learning, sharing and further developing best practices to achieve greater impact
* Flexibility to attend meetings outside “standard” working hours when required

Nice to Haves:
* Working experience of Jira
* Business domain experience of the following area(s): enabling enterprises to map customer journeys
across the healthcare ecosystems (patients, HCPs, payers, policy makers); customer insight generation inc.
customer journey mapping, customer engagement data and analytics
* Demonstrated experience of one or more of the following digital technologies: CMS systems (the
project is using Storyblok),AWS and cloud technologies, DevOps,virtual whiteboards (like Miro, Google
Jamboard, Mural etc), spreadsheets (Excel, GSheets)
