For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a highly qualified Development Engineer – HW/SW Testing

Background:

The Sub-Chapter Instrument Design Verification is part of R&D Point of Care, which is accountable for research and development activities on all systems of the BG/E (Blood Gas and Electrolytes) portfolio from Roche Diagnostics.
We are looking for someone with technical background, ideally in electronics or medical engineering who brings experience in hardware testing for instrumentation.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Support projects in testing of Hardware modules / electromechanical units
  * Contribution in the development of testing concepts and -strategies for system-, software- and hardware-testing on different testing levels
  * Review of requirements und specifications
  * Support projects in documentation in an ALM (RETINA, intland codebeamer based)
  * Collaboration within the interdisciplinary development team
  * Status reporting to respective project or product leader

Must Haves:

• Apprenticeship, Bachelor or Master degree in Medical Engineering or Electronics
  * At least 1 year of experience in software and hardware testing in a highly regulated environment
  * Familiar with test planning and the basics of project management
  * Experienced in cross-functional product development
  * Networking with internal stakeholders from R&D, production, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, project management
  * Familiar with software tools and databases for test management (Application Lifecycle Management tools) and test execution
  * Fluent in English, German is an advantage

Nice to have:

• ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification is an advantage
