Electronics Engineer Robotics – OMRON robots, electronics design, using EDA, C, C++, Python

Role:
For our client in the Pharma industry based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a Electronics Engineer Robotics.

The perfect candidate:
* Team player with excellent communication skills
* Broad interest in multi-disciplinary areas like electronics, robotics, lab workflows, mechanical
engineering, physics etc.
* Willingness to challenge and assess ideas, results and solutions, ability to compromise combined with
persuasiveness
* Autonomous working style, open-minded towards new methods and topics and act as a mentor to
emerging engineers

Areas of responsibility:
* Be the subject matter expert for the assigned area of responsibility that requires understanding of
workflows in a laboratory environment to solve challenges, increase effectiveness and quality.
* Bring in your ideas and experience in electronics from mixed/analog and digital circuit design and layout
upto system level in a multidisciplinary team
* Create, adapt and optimize electrical/electronic architectures and technical specifications for modules
and components in diagnostic laboratory automation systems or experimental breadboards.
* Conduct analyses, technical calculations and simulations of electrical circuits and work according to
quality standards and safety guidelines in medical engineering.
* Compile, document and present findings, insights and proposals linked to technical and business impact

Professional and technical requirements:
* Master from an Applied Science or Technical University in the fields of Electrical Engineering or similar
with professional experience
* Experience with robotic solutions (e.g. OMRON robots)
* Experience in electronics design, using EDA software and programming of embedded systems
* Experience in programming (e.g. C, C++, Python,), data processing and system simulation
* German or English, bi-lingual is preferred
