Image and Data Analyst – HW and SW affinity, C, C++, C#, Python, image and data analysis

Role:
For our client in the Pharma industry based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a Image and Data Analyst.

Roche Diagnostics International Ltd in Rotkreuz is one of the world’s leading providers of diagnostic system solutions for clinics, laboratories and doctors’ offices. The company employs
over 2200 people in Rotkreuz and is one of Roche Diagnostics main sites. Roche Diagnostics
Solutions builds up a new R&D team to develop the next generation of highly innovative and
patient oriented Lab IVD systems at site Rotkreuz.

Areas of responsibility:
* Independent planning, execution, analysis and documentation of physical and bio-chemical
experiments, including the implementation of any required measurement setups (HW & SW)
* Development and application of image quality measures
* Hand-on work in the laboratory (BSL-1, BSL-2)
* Close collaboration with scientists, engineers and subject matter experts

Professional and technical requirements:
* MSc in physics or engineering
* At least 2 Years of experience
* Technical HW and SW affinity
* Professional experience in C, C++, C#, Python
* Working knowledge of image and data analysis
* High level of attention, flexibility in a constantly changing environment, ability to work on multiple
tasks at the same time and deal with priority changes
* Cooperation in an interdisciplinary and intercultural team
* Very good spoken and written command of English is a must and good command of German is
a plus (team language is English)

Nice to Haves:
* Working knowledge of digital microscopy (bright field and fluorescence)
* Working knowledge of Matlab
* Flexibility, ability to grasp quickly new topics, understand problems and work under pressure
* Good communication and team player skills, but also the ability to work independently
