Role:
For our client in the Pharma industry based in Basel we are looking for a Senior Project Manager
Architecture & Software Engineering.

The perfect candidate: We are looking for a senior project manager with experience in IT Migration
projects and Scrum Master/Change Manager experience who is able to communicate from Technical Part
to Business and other way around. We are looking for someone who is able to both ways communications
and who is able to deliver also the soft skills.

Areas of responsibility:
* Leading a Scrum team for meeting timelines and deliverables according to the Definition of Done,
providing coaching and work direction
* Support actively good spirit and collaboration within the team and the entire organization
* Provides technical leadership in the Scrum process
* Leads the sprint planning and task estimation
* Continuous evaluation of the sprint progress
* Organizes and facilitates the sprint presentation
* Facilitates and leads the sprint retrospective meeting
* Responsible for removing impediments which affect the team performance
* Facilitating the continuous improvement of the SCRUM team processes
* Optionally performs programming tasks including program design, coding, debugging and
documentation, following the established procedures and coding guidelines, in adherence to schedule,
scope and quality metrics defined for the product.
* Supporting the system tests
* Connect with global teams located in USA and work if needed in US time zones

Professional and technical requirements:
* Min Master Degree or similar in Business Administration or any IT related environment or PMP/PMI or
similar Certification
* Min. 8-10 years of experience as Project Manager in IT Migration projects or Change Management
projects preferred in the pharmaceutical or diagnostic industry
* Experience in Enterprise Architecture environment as a Project Manager
* Relevant experience in software/systems engineering and a software development background,
preferably in a healthcare company
* Working and leading in an agile environment with agile teams
* Leadership experience in a matrix environment for a global project
* Experience in JIRA and Trello is needed
* Fluency in English (spoken and written)
* Quick learner with the ability to understand complex workflows and develop and validate innovative
solutions to address customer needs or to realize market opportunities
* Good communicator, able to collaborate with stakeholders and customers to explain technology and
with the proven ability to take insights from customers and translate them into technical deliverables
* Proven ability to establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develop and execute strategies, and track
and measure outcomes
* Familiarity with the technological trends and their relevance to the healthcare industry. A passionate
and decisive business leader. Demonstrating courage, vision and drive to achieve outcomes at the
forefront of innovative technological changes

Nice to Haves:
* Advanced certification in common agile frameworks (e.g. PMI-ACP, from Scrum.Org, SAFe, LeSS)
* Former Roche experience
* Knowledge and experience with IT / IS governance processes, CSV
* German is beneficial
