Our client in the Financial Services sector is looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join a
a Strategic project. The objective is to increase the automated tests coverage for 3 software applications which are part of a data processing and delivery platform.
Tasks:
Analysis and documentation of the current testing landscape
Define a target and propose a plan to achieve that target
Support and train the team in best practices for different types of testing: data, integration, scalability etc.
Testing strategy development, Approaches and Concepts
Specifying suitable methods, techniques, standards and tools for the construction and
operation of the systems
Planning, evaluating, migrating, developing/implementing, configuring, testing and introducing
systems
Analysis of disturbances and error conditions, initiating and controlling measures for their repair
Defining benchmark figures and escalation procedures for the description of the service levels
as well as transferring systems in operation
Requirements:
University qualification or similar academic degree
Strong Co-ordination, problem solving and organizational skills
Experience of programming and application development
Confident with Testing strategy development including Test approaches and concepts (data-centric testing and test engineering)
Several years of experience with Java, Databases, Data/ API Testing and OpenShift
Languages:
English – Fluent (Excellent Spoken and Written)
