ServiceNow Developer (m/w/d)

Senior ServiceNow Developer (m/w/d /GRC /OpRisk/100%/ Remote within Europe
Projekt We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support a long-term project for a leading Swiss banking institution. The project focuses on the further development and maintenance of existing ServiceNow applications supporting Operational Risk Management (OpRisk).

You will work in an agile, international team alongside developers and business stakeholders to enhance existing applications, implement new functionalities, and ensure reliable system operations.
This is a remote project for candidates based in Europe. Candidates must have strong written and spoken English skills at C1 level or higher.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse technical requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
• Design, develop, and enhance existing ServiceNow applications.
• Implement new functionalities and maintain existing application components.
• Perform testing, debugging, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure application stability and quality.
• Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders in an agile environment.

Required Skills and Experience

• Solid professional experience in hands-on ServiceNow development.
• Practical experience in developing and enhancing ServiceNow applications.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, including implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Ability to analyse technical problems and contribute to reliable solutions.
• Technical, analytical, or scientific university degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher, both written and spoken.
• Must be based in Europe and able to work remotely.

Nice to Have
Experience with one or more of the following ServiceNow modules or domains:

• Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
• Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
• Business Continuity Management (BCM)
• Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
• Knowledge of operational risk management or the banking industry is an advantage but not mandatory.

Rate Information

One working day equals 8.4 hours.

We are looking for a hands-on ServiceNow Developer. Candidates whose experience is limited to end-user activities, administration, or functional consulting without practical development experience are not suitable.
