Sourcing Manager – Procurement/Contracting/Enterprise Systems/SAP/Cost Reduction

Project:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sourcing Manager to join client team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and strategic sourcing, particularly within technical fields like electronics or mechanics. This role focuses on leveraging business enterprise systems, including SAP, to drive cost reduction and value improvement programs.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Execute procurement requests in line with category guidance and company policies
• Collaborate with procurement, business, and legal teams on sourcing and contracting activities
• Understand end-user requirements and apply appropriate tools and value levers
• Ensure continuous improvement and supplier performance optimisation
• Communicate progress and outcomes of procurement activities clearly and effectively

Requirements:

• Substantial procurement experience in contracting, enterprise systems, and spot buying
• Good communication skills and demonstrated understanding of translating business requirements into procurement specifications with customer service in mind
• Sourcing management experience in a technical field (electronics, mechanics)
• Knowledgeable in systems and processes for efficient management of contract documentation, templates and processing tools (e.g. eSourcing, eAuction)
• Knowledge of business enterprise tools (SAP)

Languages:

• German intermediate (B2 Level)
• English fluency (C1 / C2 Level)
