RFP Project Manager 50% – Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Tool

Project: Our client in the energy sector is looking for a skilled and structured Project Manager to lead the selection of a Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) solution. This is a part-time contract (50%, initially 3-6 months). The project scope is international and the role involves managing the full evaluation process, including stakeholder engagement, requirement gathering, documentation, and leading a formal RFP.

Tasks:

• Plan and manage the full lifecycle for TPRM tool selection
• Lead structured workshops with Compliance, Procurement, Credit Risk, Legal and IT Security
• Consolidate and document business requirements into a clear SoW
• Identify and assess relevant data source providers
• Manage end-to-end RFPs for both TPRM tools and data providers
• Coordinate vendor Q&A sessions, demos and scoring workshops
• Ensure alignment with compliance (due diligence, ESG), procurement (SAP Ariba), credit risk (exposure tracking), and InfoSec (NIS2) requirements
• Provide regular status updates and manage risks and dependencies
• Deliver a final recommendation report and executive briefing deck

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in project or programme management, ideally in tool/vendor selection
• Strong knowledge of RFP processes and Statement of Work creation
• Familiarity with Third Party Risk Management or related compliance and procurement topics
• Able to coordinate across multiple departments and drive structured delivery
• Confident managing projects independently on a part-time basis
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Fluent English and minimum B2-level German
