2 year contract working in a project management and cross functional capacity to ensure the global SAP ERP System is implemented and integrated seamlessly with several other enterprise applications and projects.

Achievements:

Successful implemented several end to end life cycles of greenfield SAP ERP (FI, CO, SD, MM, HCM), BI and SRM to UK, US, Canada, Austria, Germany, Switzerland and South Korea companies covering 58% of the Market Research revenue combined. On target for Japan and France SAP ERP go-lives end of 2014.

Successfully implemented the integrated strategy involving customer, employee, proposal management, sales order and contract business processes. These required the seamless integration of several external systems such as CRM, HR, Travel & Expense, Purchase Ordering, Proposal Management and Sales ordering with the SAP ERP implementation.

Successfully implemented the new middleware ESB (BizTalk) ensuring the ‘Market Research’ strategy is adhered to and several global interfaces are aligned with SAP ERP.

Responsibilities:

Architect to all integrations with SAP ERP system, ensuring full compliance with the: global strategy, design governance and project life cycle.

Acted as SAP ERP roll-out lead cover for UK and US to provide project management, stakeholder management and ensure project plan is adhered to.

Co-ordinates a wide range of SAP functional areas including but not limited to FI, CO, PS, SD, HR, Reporting and Interfaces.

Financial processes covered include: Record-to-Report (GL), Fixed Asset Accounting (FIAA), Procure-to-Pay (AP), Order-to-Cash (AR), Travel & Expense Reimbursement and Payroll.

Member of the Cross Applications Board to ensure solutions are aligned across the enterprise architecture and conform to the overall design strategy.

Provide the link between cross functions and technical teams to ensure design, development and test are on track to meet specific timelines.

Worked closely with the business to ensure implementation fits requirements, particularly important during fit/gap analysis, design, test and change management.

Project managed both internal and external teams from several time zones including third party vendor management (such as Customer, Wipro, PwC and Senacor).

Required to facilitate, carry out and present during meetings at C and departmental head levels.

Permanent consulting role with Customer, working as part of the Enterprise Applications arm to help advise and deliver consulting services relating to SAP ERP, Oracle ERP, SOA and Portal projects.

Achievements:

Worked on a wide range of architecture platforms including in-house SOA based Java MVC architectures, Agile Portal implementations to vanilla SAP ERP and Oracle PeopleSoft implementations.

Worked on Global and Local SAP ERP Implementations, all successfully went live covering and involved in the full end to end lifecycle from blueprinting, analysis, design, build and test to go-live. Roll-outs included the: UK, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Russia, the Netherlands, US, Canada, Austria and Germany.

Worked with several clients, mainly Fortune Global 500 companies, from a wide a range of industries including financial services, marketing, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, public sector and telecommunications. They include UBS, Diageo, Novartis, HMRC, DWP, O2 and AOL.

Responsibilities:

SAP ERP implementations were focused on Finance and HR transformations, involving complex global roll-outs and Shared Service Centre.

Worked on all stages of the lifecycle including: planning, architecture, analysis, design, build, test, training and deploy.

Followed tried and tested implementation life cycles including Customer Delivery Methodology, Waterfall, V-Model and Agile.

90% of time was on client site both nationally and internationally.

SAP Finance implementation projects involved both new transformations and upgrades. Activities included: requirements gathering, fit/gap analysis, business process design, functional design, Configuration, Debug, Test, Training, deploy and post go-live support.

Co-ordinated and managed cross functional teams, onsite and off-shore, during implementation and post go-live.

Facilitated various meetings participants including senior management (C-Level), topics included: roll-out enablement, fit/gap workshops, next phase kick-off etc.

Worked on decision papers and analysis deliverables.

Created several Functional and Technical Specifications which were signed-off and used by teams to implement current and new functionality.

Advised on test approach and helped organise plan to ensure testing covered all requirements.
