Project:
For our banking client we are looking for a Backfill Network Engineer (m/w/d). You will become an integral part of the international Network Engineering and Operation Team. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting complex issues, maintaining, and developing the network infrastructure in a high-critical and dynamic environment. From Wireless in the Campus to ACI in the Datacenter and SDWAN to interconnecting clients subsidiaries, you will be working with Cisco-based technologies, ensuring seamless operations and engineering excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve network-related issues promptly and efficiently to maintain a reliable and high-performance network infrastructure.
• Design, configure, and optimize network components, leveraging strong knowledge of Cisco routers and switches, to ensure smooth data flow and connectivity.
• Analyze network performance using in-depth understanding of UDP and TCP protocols, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing data transfer for optimal user experience.
• Actively participate in international projects, shaping and enhancing the network infrastructure, while collaborating with the global team to drive project success.
• Work closely with a dynamic global team of approximately 27 employees across the US, Spain, and Switzerland, fostering seamless collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Technical Skills: You should have an excellent grasp of network troubleshooting and be highly proficient in Cisco Routing & Switching. A solid understanding of network UDP/TCP protocols is essential.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Your ability to approach challenges with a systematic and analytical mindset will be instrumental in resolving complex network issues efficiently.
• The role offers a flexible hybrid work model, with 60% remote work and 40% office-based work. You should be adaptable to this setup to ensure effective collaboration with the team.
