Our client is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for a Senior UX Designer to work in the Digital team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

They are looking for Senior UX Designer to help support our digital strategy in the Digital & ExO Hub

Responsibilities:
-Reporting to the UX Manager
-Assist UX manager in developing & growing digital presence through UX Design
-Assist UX manager in developing & maintaining digital properties through UX Design
-Assist UX manager in training & developing UX team
-Assist UX manager in developing strategy & processes for UX within the Digital team

Requirements:
-To lead key UX projects within the digital team
-To research and design the experience of Retail web applications for our client (UX Design)
-To research, design & work with UI designers to implement attractive designs for our client, helping to lead the development of our design system (UI Design)
-To research and contribute to the improvement of the overall experience of our client (CX Design)
-To provide support for Digital Marketing activities
-To learn and develop new skills as they emerge.
-To increase the knowledge of CX / UX / UI
-Collaborate with business areas and IT developers to ensure visual elements are built to designed specifications
-Communicate design ideas and prototypes to business owners and developers
-Must have Digital Media/Visual/Graphic Design/ or related primary degree
-Is innovative and can work to deadlines in a disciplined manner
-Is committed to deliver high quality and standards.
-Proven experience (minimum 5 years+) as a UX/UI Designer
-Strong portfolio of design projects
-Background in project management and research
-Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
-Proficient in design software (e.g., Figma, Adobe Suite)
-Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus but not a requirement.
-Be capable of quickly developing an understanding of the ILFS business and the IT systems in place to support the business needs.
-Have good interpersonal skills & ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.
-Have the ability to multitask effectively, work well under pressure & meet tight and changing deadlines.
-Have the ability to understand and manage the sensitivities of different stakeholders at different levels and to present a viable solution and obtain buy-in.
-Have an organised and systematic approach to their job.
-Have the ability to work on both their own initiative and as a part of a cross functional team.
